SEASON NOTICE PAGE
The results from the Second Week (September 8th)
of the Championship Play-Offs are as follows:
Team #6 tied with Team #1 in a 12 to 12 decision,
but the Tie Break favored Team #6, so Team #6
advances to the Championship Round.
Team #10 defeated Team #7 by a score of 13 to
10-1/2, so Team #10 advances to the Championship
Round.
Team #2 defeated Team #1 by a 11-1/2 to 10-1/2
margin.
Team #8 defeated Team #9 by a 12 to 10-1/2
margin.
The finals of the Championship Play-Offs on Sept
15th are as follows:
The 2011 League Champion will be decided in the
Match between Team #6 and Team #10 on the Front
Nine.
3rd and 4th Place will be decided in the Match
between Team #3 and Team #7 on the Front Nine.
5th and 6th Place will be decided in the Match
between Team #2 and Team #8 on the Back Nine.
7th and 8th Place will be decided in the Match
between Team #1 and Team #9 on the Back Nine.
In the Round Robin Play-Offs the following are the
results after the 2nd Week of competition are:
Team #12: 26-1/2 points
Team #11: 22-1/2 points
Team #4: 20 points
Team #5: 15-1/2 points
The Final Week of the Round Robin Play-Off
Match-Ups are as follows:
Team #4 plays Team #5 (Front Nine) and Team #11
plays Team #12 (Back Nine).
The Tie-Breaking Rules for the Play-Offs and the
Team Match Tie Breakers for all the above scheduled
matches are posted on the League Bulletin Board at
the 'Ridge. Good Luck to all the Teams.
The Two Fun Night Competitions have been chosen by
the Board: They are:
Week #1: Sept 22: Two Man Team Scramble, Quota
Points Tournament.
Typical Scramble Format, not a Step-Aside, no Tee
Shot Restrictions, Pair Up in Any Team you care to
chose. Quota Points and Points Format same as
President's Cup, but based on current average. Team
Quota is the Average of the two Players' Quotas to
the nearest 1/2 point. Total Points made minus the
Team Quota is the Net Points for the Team. Highest
Net Points Wins.
Week #2: Sept 29: Two Man Team Alternate Shot, 2
Ball, Quota Points Tournament.
Pair Up in Any Team you care to chose. Format is
Alternate Shot, two ball format. Each player hits the
ball resulting from his partner's previous shot until
each ball is holed. The ball holed with the fewest
strokes on a given hole is scored for the team. Quota
Points and Points Format same as President's Cup, but
based on current average. Team Quota is the Average
of the two Players to the nearest half point. Total
Points made minus the Team Quota is the Net Points
for the Team. Highest Net Points Wins.
